The Campfire infusion kit includes: apples, smoked brown sugar, lemon, cinnamon sticks, and a pinch of lapsang souchong (pinewood-smoked black tea). Add your own spirits (alcohol not included). While this infusion would be great with any alcohol you choose, we think it’s best for whiskey (or scotch), vodka, and rum. Gin and tequila (or mezcal) are great too.
Fill with the spirit of your choice, steep on your counter for 3 days, strain, and store in the refrigerator for up to a month. Makes 12 ounces of infused spirit, or 6-8 drinks. The Campfire is great sipped straight from the jar (or on the rocks) around a fire. Or, for a simple cocktail, mix 2 oz. of your Campfire spirit with 4-8 oz. of club soda, ginger beer, or hot water. Squeeze in a large wedge of lemon. Add ice for a cold drink.
